We are very happy with the work that z. Abedin completed in the resurfacing of the front of our Brownstone. The work was done efficiently and timely. The workers were talented and very courteous. We feel they went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied with the outcome. It was a complete job from top to bottom. Finishing with painting all woodwork and metalwork. They were easy to work with and there were no surprises. We recommend them highly.

Z. Abedin Construction restored the stoop and detailed the facade of my Brooklyn townhouse. The work was flawless, and there were zero issues in terms of people showing up for work or accommodating tenants. Lastly and most importantly Mr. Abiding (the owner) is thorough gentleman and a man of his word, a rarity in this business. I have no hesitation in recommending Z. Abedin Construction for any home improvement project you maybe undertaking. Mr. Abedin was a pleasure to deal to deal with, and went above and beyond to make sure all the work was completed to our satisfaction

abedin is simply the best. he got my brownstone looking amazing in less than 8 weeks and helped with all my small projects like metal grate removal, painting my exterior window frames, and new gutters. i can't recommend enough. plus he was always very responsive and his quote was $7500 lower than the next closest bid. will always use abedin for my brownstones in the future.

Z Abedin construction just refinished the stoop of our brownstone. The leadership was good with communication. The artisans were outstanding and the ornamental decorations look fantastic. These guys worked hard and the finished product is awesome and landmarks approved. We are so happy and would recommend them again and again.

Abedin was one of 4 brownstone specialists that bid on my historic facade restoration. I diligently inspected the work of all 4 companies across Brooklyn and Manhattan and read many reviews before finally deciding to go with Z Abedin. I was very impressed at how neat and tidy his work was and the attention to detail was simply exceptional. As recommended by The NYC historic Landmarks I wanted my project to be in complete concordance with the original stone facade from the 1870s. We dug up the 1940s tax photo via NYCgov and Abedin and his crew were able to replicate all the details including the mansard roof facade. Yes I am very happy with the result and I think we are very lucky to have such a great and skilled craftsman in New York.

Team Abedin have been a pleasure to work with during a stoop renovation and brick cleaning and repointing. Mr Abedin very clearly knows his work, and takes great pride in the work of his team, with an approach to have his work last a long time. Not only this, but he was responsive to many questions, and even though much of these were my attempts to gain understanding of the process, he was happy to talk further and show up in person. He is an incredibly polite and gracious man, and his team are accomplished masons. They also always showed up and cleaned up every day of work, which can't be taken for granted. For those out there wanting high quality work from a team with integrity, look no further.

Our Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn brownstone’s façade was in very poor condition before we engaged Z. Abedin. We have owned the building for over 12 years, and in the early years, we admittedly did not fully recognize the extent of the deterioration. At one point, portions of the façade were even painted over, masking underlying issues rather than addressing them. Over time, however—after more than a decade of ownership—serious structural and aesthetic problems became increasingly apparent. Unfortunately, the visible deterioration began attracting unwanted attention. The condition of the façade suggested financial distress, which was not the case, and led to a significant increase in unsolicited purchase inquiries. Last year, the property was landmarked, which prompted us to move forward with a proper and thoughtful restoration. Having lived in the Clinton Hill/Fort Greene area for many years, I was familiar with façade work in the neighborhood, and one name consistently stood out: Z. Abedin. We reached out to Abedin along with four other firms for estimates. Z. Abedin distinguished himself immediately. We received a call back within a day—far sooner than other firms—and, in fact, received a detailed and comprehensive estimate before some companies had even responded at all. The proposal was thorough, clearly explained, and very fairly priced. From the outset, it was clear that his professionalism and communication would carry through to the work itself. That expectation was fully met. Despite a long and extremely hot summer, Abedin’s crew arrived on time, worked diligently (weather permitting), and even put in additional time on several weekends. Throughout the project, they were consistently courteous, respectful, and professional. As the attached before-and-after photos show, the quality of the work speaks for itself. In January 2026 I had to renovate the 3rd floor apartment; painting, wall treatment, wood trim, replace missing tiles, installed cabinets & backsplash and wall in the hallway. In 2020 Z. Abedin did the renovation outside my house. Throughout the whole project; great craftsmanship, finished product is high-quality and durable. The crew was on time, hardworking, and professional. We’re thrilled with the quality and attention to detail. Talk to as many contractors as possible, get quotes etc. The more you research for the best match for the job, you too will pick Z. The owner for this company has been very courteous and professional from the beginning all the way through to the end. He laid out everything step by step and stuck to the plan and contact. The foreman Hugo was also the best to work with. Overall, I'm satisfied with the qof work and prices was great. I'll definitely hire this company again for my construction needs.
